Pepper Ham Sandwich With Tarragon Salad Dressing, Cheese, Roasted Garlic And Smoked Paprika

One of our crazy experiments finally paid off. The addition of the salad dressing to this bread takes this simple sandwich to a whole new level. The bread, after toasting, is moist but yet crunchy. The dressing adds a ‘zing‘ to the ham. This sandwich reminds us of Woodstock: a mixed bag of nuts making sweet music together. Feel the love, add the dressing!

Sandwich Recipe

  • 1 slice of sourdough bread
  • 2 tbs tarragon salad dressing
  • 2 slices of  pepper-ham
  • 1 oz Dubliner cheese (2 slices, broken in pieces)
  • 3 roasted garlic
  • pinch of smoked paprika

Spread the tarragon salad dressing on the bread, and layout 1 slice of ham, then half the cheese, then 1 slice of ham, the remaining cheese. Add the three roasted garlic. Toast the sandwich in a toaster oven until the cheese melts and the corners of the bread turn lightly golden. Gently sprinkle smoked paprika from high above, and enjoy while warm.
